The Inn at Neshobe River is a classic Vermont farmhouse (built in 1786) that offers four guest rooms with private baths. We are home to the Neshobe River Winery and Foley Brothers Brewery. Guests are welcome to stroll through the vineyard or picnic on the grounds with a glass of our wine or craft brewed beer. Guests can enjoy a complimentary wine or beer tasting. In chillier Vermont weather, you may simply want to sit in our well stocked library or picturesque breakfast room and read.
We support locally grown products and serve a healthy breakfast of mostly organic foods including yogurt, fruit, eggs and fresh baked breads or muffins.
About the Innkeepers…
Robert and Rhonda started the family business of Inn Keeping and expanded by adding a winery in 2007, Neshobe River Winery. More recently, in 2012, their adult children started making craft brewed beer and Foley Brothers Brewing is now also located on the grounds of the Inn. The Foleys enjoy delighting guests with their specialty wine and beer and sometimes wood fired pizza on the scenic grounds abutting the Neshobe River Golf Course.
The Foley Family has spent a significant amount of time visiting wineries and breweries in the US, Europe, Africa, Canada and New Zealand, bringing home fresh new ideas for their business. They are members of the American Wine Association, as well as the Vermont Grape Growers and Wine Council. Robert has worked as a wine consultant for COSTCO, Whole Foods and the Merchant of Vino.
