Location

Brandon, Vermont is located on Route 7 about halfway between Middlebury and Rutland at the foot of the Green Mountains. The town has several restaurants including Cafe Provence, Sheri’s Diner, Cattails and Sully’s Restaurant. It is home to antique shops and art galleries. It is an easy drive from Brandon to explore Vermont’s Champlain Valley. Champlain Valley is known for its apple orchards, historic sites and museums.

Area activities include apple and berry picking, kayaking, hiking, biking, fishing, and winery and brewery touring. Cultural attractions include the Warren Kimble Museum and Gift Shop, the Vermont Folklife Center, Brandon Music and Tea House, Stephen Douglas House and the Performing and Visual Arts Center at Middlebury College.

Nature lovers will enjoy the Green Mountains Recreation area and golfers will enjoy the Neshobe Golf Club.
